Amnesia Episode 5 Review

image

This anime keep coming and coming with these embarrassing scenes to watch huh? Ikki is such a playa 〜( ̄▽ ̄〜) Now that we’re done with Shin we go on to Ikki. Also Orion’s back…for like a minute with not explaining anything. So in this episodes you get some answers but again also more questions. And…did the quality go down a bit?

image

Back where we left off, Ikki and Heroine are standing outside her apartment with Rika. She doesn’t look too happy either. She kinda just glares at them before Ikki takes a step forward which makes her walk up closer to them. She apologizes for the group of girls (the mean girls) bothering “Ikki-sama”. I have a good feeling she’s the gang leader and his fellow worshiper. Heroine gets a flashback of when she first saw Rika in the beginning of episode 2. She was there before she had passed out in front of her house. Rika apologizes for making Heroine wait and then walks away.

image

Ikki get back to Heroine right away saying in exchange for him making her wait what it was she wish for. What she wants him to do. He tells her to look into his eyes. He then go on to say:

“Hey, when we’re looking at each this close, don’t you feel anything?”

(O///O) He brushes it aside jokingly saying that it wouldn’t work on her. This was the beginning of only a few scenes in this episode that made me feel awkward watching it. XD I don’t know why but when he sweet talk Heroine the producers make it seem they’re talking to us which makes me feel slightly uncomfortable unless I’m playing the game….so hey American companies…make this game English…now.

image

They go to a movie date and Heroine stays rather quiet. When in the theater watching the movie she realizes something. The movie they’re watching is similar to what she is experiencing right now about different worlds or dreams. The irony. Ikki in the moment makes a move on Heroine. Her hand is on the chair thing and he grabs it and holds it for a little while. He then lets go. Ikki smiles while Heroine blushes a little. I love how most of these guys except maybe Toma wears gloves in this anime.

image

The movie ends and they wait for everyone to leave. Ikki says that he can finally see Heroine’s face. Apparently he always brings her to dark places. (¬‿¬) He explains he doesn’t have an ulterior motive or anything. Yeah right, Ikki I know what you are. Kinda. He would like to see her without the sunglasses but if he took them off he might attract attention; or as he puts it freeze them. I don’t know if this implies he has ice visions or just a term. He says sorry to her because of his condition he always inconvenience her. Condition? (O___O is it cancer?!) A worker asks them to leave so she can clean up the theater.

image

They’re at a cafe and are kinda casually talking about the movie. Ikki see his stalkers fan girls and isn’t too happy. He tells Heroine maybe they should go home because they both have work the next day. Heroine is quiet. Ikki asks if she okay or is it she wants to spend more time with him. He jokes it away saying she would never be like that. He bring back the topic of the wish thing for this morning. Heroine asks if he could walk her to work and he’s a bit surprise but agrees happily.

image

Heroine is back at her room and takes a nap. We hear and see Orion. He’s back! (^u^)/ After a train passes by she wakes up and sees Orion. She is just as happy to see him. She has a question for him but he insists on speaking first since they don’t know when he’ll disappear again. So he was always with her but she…and us…could never hear or see him.

image

He tells Heroine:

“I think you’ve already noticed, but the current situation is pretter different from when we first meet right? The current world you’re in might not be the same…as the one you started in but this might be the real world. You look like you’re in a very unstable position right now. All of this is because I bumbed into you..So..

Heroine doesn’t understand and neither does Orion…(-v-) so much help you are Orion. She asks if all of the prievious episodes were dreams and he answers no. He was about to explain some more but he disappear before doing so. Darn, a cliff hanger.

Her phone rings and it’s Ikki messageing her. He says he was worried about her and all that stuff. Another mail with an unknown address and no subject. The mail said something about her not giving a daily report. If I had to guess it was Rika or something and the daily report was about Ikki or relating Ikki. Just my personal prediction.

image

We go on to the next day and Ikki comes to pick her up for work. He offers to carry her small purse. This happened when they were going to the movies from her house too. It actually happens another time in this episode. I don’t know if it’s polite or he just like the purse. It’s not that big and I think she can handle it. Maybe it’s just being a gentlemen or in the PLAYA’s handbook.

When we’re at the cafe, Heroine goes up to the managers to say hi but he yells at her. He’s changed too. He’s not so friendly. Ikki comes and pulls her away from him. He tells her that he’s surprise that she can act so friendly to him. I guess he’s not so nice since the Shin’s world.

image

image

Someone orders a Maid’s Handmade Parfait….remember episode 1? Yeah keep that in mind. Heroine is confuse on how to make it because she doesn’t know if it’s the same recipe. Ikki offers to help her and we get a very fimiliar scene of him teaching her how to make it.

This was when I realize what this girl is. She can see into the future or rather her future. Because, remember with Shin? She had seen that one scene and it turns out that it came true in Shin’s world. Now her “fragment memory” of Ikki from episode 1 has appeared here. Sooo that tells a lot. One that Kent’s turn is next if they continue going through each guy’s world. And that Toma doesn’t have one? I think he does but I can’t remember his scene. Did he ever get one? Anyways this Herine is pretty freaking powerful in a psyic scense.

Getting back to the customers, someone confesses their feelings to Ikki and asks if he has a girlfriend. We don’t get an answer. Heroine meanwhile is just standing around admiring how popular he is.

image

After work they both head home from the back door. Ikki sees his stalkers fan girls and tells Heroine to go to their usual place. He walk away with the stalkers fan girls. Leaving Heroine alone. WOW, some gentlemen. Obviously she doesn’t know where their “usual place” is so she just stand behind the cafe until Ikki calls her. He asks where she is and she tells him. He kinda freaks out (not really but a little) and heads straight back to get her.

image

It’s night time by the time he gets there. You know she could’ve been “picked up” by strangers right Ikki? She is kinda in an alleyway, a dark one at that. Anyways he confronts her about her strange behavior since yesterday. He didn’t mention it before because he was too happy that she asked him to walk her to work. He tells her to rely on him more since he’s her boyfriend which confirms to Heroine that Ikki is her boyfriend. I’m surpries he hasn’t caught on like Shin but then again he might not have hurt her so he can’t suspect much.

image

image

They walk home together; or rather Ikki walks her home. BUT before that he offers to carry her bag. When they reach her home he asks if she wants her bag back. Heroine is confuse by this and he tells her to come closer taking off his sun glasses. She backs up to a wall and he traps/leans in to her.Getting very close. He then says.

“You won’t close your eyes. It’s hard to kiss you. Are you resisting me? I won’t do it if you don’t want me to, but do you really not want me to? Was I just being conceited to think that you had come to like me? *LEANS IN REALLY REALLY CLOSE* Hey, close your eyes. I won’t do anything scary….You still can’t? The Princess just won’t fall for me.

Heroine tells him to please stop and he does. She looks both scared and unconfortable. He back off and say he thought it would work this time. Apprently this is the first time he had to “fight” so hard. He then goes on to seriously/Jokingly says that she might be the first girl who hasn’t fallen for him. He retorts by saying he was lieing. He’s determine to capture her heart he says seriously this time. He put back on his glasses and mutters “One Month.” He leaves. Another unkown text saying something about a daily report which Heroine still doesn’t know anything about.

image

Next day of work Sawa visits the cafe as a customer. Heroine asks if she is just visiting as a customer but Sawa isn’t a maid. She changed too. She doesn’t work there anymore or rather never did. Girl giggles and Ikki gets Sawa attention and she asks to speak with Heroine outside.

She asks if Heroine really knows who her boyfriend, Ikki, is. Sawa had went out to check about the rumor she heard saying it’s true. The rumor being that ge goes out with girls like it’s a game. Heroine is shock. After 3 months Ikki tosses the girls aside. Sawa warns that maybe she shouldn’t fall in love with someone like that. Although she says it’s up to Heroine then leaves.

Mine comes up and asks why Heroine looks so different. She asks if Ikki had dumped her. Heroine looks a little hurt by this. Mine said it was only a matter of time and blows it under the rug. She asks who’s Ikki’s next target. Mine then asks Heroine if it was okay if she went after Ikki. Overall, Heroine isn’t too happy..told you he was a PLAYA.

image

After work we see Kento!..and Ikki. Oh the alway straight face Kent is back with his actually not so complicated self. Anyways they look like they are about to fight and before we see what it actually was we are at Ikki’s room with Heroine holding an ice pack to her head and Kent just standing there. We are then turn back to what actually happened. Thinking they were going to do something dangerous Heroine came between them…rather she tried. She tripped as she was running out. This girl is clumsy.

image

I must say Kent and Ikki have a weird relationship (=u=) They were just challeging each other to a number puzzle thing they had both made up for the other. Nerds. Then again I’m one too…. Both apologizes to Heroine saying they didn;t expect her to get hurt…I did. Kent guesses that this was the first time Heroine was in Ikki’s room and this points out how hard Ikki is “fighting”. I’m guessing to win her heart.

Kent says maybe she’s the girl that won’t fall for Ikki. He argues saying he still has 3 weeks. Heroine doesn’t like the sound of that. Jerk, don’t say it to someone’s face but then again hiding it wouldn’t be good either…..Ikki offers to go get drinks and leaves Kent and Heroine alone.

image

Kent just stands there solving the math puzzle. Heroine is tempted and asks Kent about his whole rule about dumping girls after 3 months thing. She can’t really get the words out but Kent can pretty much guess what it is since he’s smart like that. (>3<)/ He tells her until now Ikki has always broken up with his Girlfriends after 3 months for some reason. Which pretty much confirms Sawa’s telling. Although Kent goes on to say that Heroine is different from the rest.

image

Ikki comes back with coffee. Kent declares he solved his puzzle and Ikki admits defeat. The three drink the coffee while Heroine looks rather depress asking why 3 months. Kent and Heroine decides it’s time to leave. Ikki hasn’t solve the puzzle and says he definietly will. Kent retorts with he’ll think up a punishment when Ikki gives up. They’re rivals huh. Also Kent seems to beb the tallest out of the 5 guys. Hmm, who knew. Kent and Heroine walks towards the door but Ikki stops Heroine saying he’ll walk her home. Kent leaves. Heroine looks very sad. She was about to leave out the door when Ikki blocked her path. He asks if Heroine isn’t staying over……… ∑(O_O;)The face that Heroine doesn’t refuse right away either surprises me. Like she’s really considering it. Ikki just smiles while Heroine is like “UHHHHH….UH. UH.” And the episodes ends.

OVERALL:Wow, much more lovey dovey then then Shin’s first episode out of 2. Ikki really doesn’t notices much though; at least compare to Shin or Toma. So Orion appeared and disappeared; I don’t know how i feel about that. Because, I kinda went into the anime expecting him to be Pikachu to Ash. We know a few things from this episode; Ikki is bold just as much as Shin, he’s a PLAYA, maybe misunderstood? just trying to find true love?, he has freaky stalkers, and Heroine can’t really not say “uh” in and episode. I understand she has Amnesia but she’s trying to hide it so at least try not to be a little bit more obvious. What I want to know is well everything. What’s up with Rika and the strange mails and where’s Rape Face/Duel Persona dude? And what is Ikki planning to do, is it a joke or maybe he’s for real. It’s rated PG-13 or something right? This anime really keep you at it.

K-On Style Animation…Urg..

image

Everyone should know by now what “K-on style” animation is. And if it’s not technically called this then sory but K-on was the first anime I saw with this “moe” style so I just assume it’s called that.

I’m very sick of it to be honest. It almost ruins an anime for me. Almost. The style was cute at first I admit but….When more than 4 animes have this style animation then that’s just no. I really really am annoyed about how this animation style has taken over almost. Don’t get me wrong, I still watch the anime but every time i see it i get a little mad inside up to the point i hate the style now. I get it. It’s very cute but there’s a limit to how many should be using this style.

I don’t know if this is true or not, but I assume this is all by the same animation studio. If it is then please oh please do something else. I do not want 8 or more animes having this animation style. This is just my opinion and everything so it’s not like i can tell the studio what to do but omg. I don’t know why it bothers me so much.

I am so much hoping that this doesn’t become mainstream….K-on was okay. It was somewhat of a hit yes. But let it go. Please. I know they can better a newer animation then this. I know it!

I can’t be the only either right? There has to be other people that are at least sick of this animation style too? No? Yes? Just me?

Anime Review: Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) Season 1&2

image

I’ve watched Hell Girl or Jigoku Shoujo before; all three seasons. I loved it midly back then. (Keep in mind I was around 12 or so when I watched this.) I had previously rated it a 7/10 for the first 2 season. Well I rewatched it recently and may I say I was extremly stupid back then? I can’t I believe I gave this series at mere 7/10! I should’ve gave it a 9/10 at the very least. Jigoku Shoujo is a great Psycology/Horror/Mystery/Tragedy anime. Definietly one of a kind.

I’m review the first two season together because in my opinion that was basically the series. Season 3 was a bit of a stretch and would’ve been fine if it hadn’t been made. I think the ending of season two was perfect and they should’ve ended it there but oh well. I will only be reviewing the first 2 seasons in this review. Spoiler will be in this review but I will warn you before you read it. So don’t worry.

Plot: 9/10

The plot of this anime can be summed up in short way. The basic plot is about an urban legend. The rumor states that if you go to Hell Hotline, a website, at the stroke of midnight you can send the person you hate the most to Hell. Hell Girl will avenge you. Of course, you must access this at midnight only (not 12:01) and must have enough hatred. That’s basically the gist of the anime’s plot of season 1, 2, and 3.

In the anime, each episode tells a different story of different people. The episodes ranges from taboo to heart breaking. You have innocent people going to Hell and not so innocent people going. You get into dark topics that you don’t usually see in America media or anything else. It’s sometimes repetitive but sooo addictive and sad at the same time. You will not be able to let go of this series once you get pass maybe the 5th episode?

The surface plot is fairly simple but the underground plot isn’t. SPOILER STARTING: The plot within the plot is mostly centered around Enma Ai, Hell Girl. She was a village girl who was betrayed by her love ones and buried alive all for the other people’s sake. Though, Karma’s a Bitch. She comes back alive and sets fire to everything; killing a good number of people. Hell’s Keeper (most likely Lucifer or something of he sort) banishes her to a certain Job she must do to atone her great sin. Basically her sin is so great she doesn’t even deserve Hell. She must do this job for centuries. It tragic really. The girl suffers a lot throughout even to the point she lost her emotions. Think about it. Forever isn’t always a good thing. She has to send even innocent children to Hell. Infants maybe. She can’t have a say in any of the people’s who go to Hell. Hell isn’t a candy shop so not too many people go there just for fun. So basically this, even if you live an extremely good life if someone out there hates you enough or no good reason then you can still be sent to Hell. She’s been doing this since maybe before the middle ages. (CENTURIES….HUNDREDS OF YEARS) I don’t think you can stay sane. END OF SPOILERS

This anime definitely has a unique plot and story line that’s unlike any other. The main theme in this series is that: Karma’s A Bitch. Yeah….that’s the gist of it.

Characters: 10/10

The characters will all give you the feels. Either it be hate or love, they will make you feel. Each story is relate able somehow because we’ve all experience sadness. This means the series hits home to probably a large number of people. It definitely hit me unexpectantly  Know this; I’ve only cry with the death of someone (you know who) from Code Geass and some of Fairy Tail’s moments.

image

Enma Ai is a character you HAVE to love. Through both season you learn more about her and why she does the thing she does. And that she stayed sane even after a thousand years or so. She helps but in a way you normally never appreciate until later in your life. Ai a badass character that’s experienced so much abuse. Yet she still has a beating heart within her…sometimes.

image

Wanyuudou is a character that didn’t have much of a spot light until season 2. He’s the old man in the series. He acts kind of like any old person character. Sometimes the comedy, the not understanding geezer, or the wise grandpa. However you see him I think he is a good character. I mean his past wasn’t that tragic or anything but it was decent. I just can’t believe he’s a wheel XD I don’t know why but that cracks me up.

image

Hone Onna is the women character. She is an Asian historical prostitute. (no it’s not as bad as it sounds.) She’s a bone lady that’s a “ghost” kind like. I have to say I really loved her character. She so sweet and humanly  Onna has a real human heart (not really). She shows the most emotions out of all the character aside from Ren. She appeals to women more though because she was betrayed by a man she loved. Kind of like Ai but less sad. Although her story is till sad. She’s kind of like the big sister ti Ai but also the little sister in my opinion.

image

Ichimoku Ren is the bishounen in this series. XD He is the guy I paired up with Ai fondly because….well they make a cute couple! Though it’s only a fan’s dream. Anyways Ren is the third member of the group that serves Ai in her job. He shows the most emotions for their clients and usually take special interests in them. In one episode he warned a close member of the client about their soon to be trip to Hell. Ren questions human actions a lot because he can’t understand them. Like the others he’s also a historical character; not from modern times. He is a lovable character and not because he’s cute but personally he’s a caring dude. He really cares for his Miss, Ai, just like the other but act on it more. He and Onna sometime act as a comedy relief. SPOILER START: I can’t believe he’s a sword though XD I didn’t expect that one. But it’s sad that he was kinda “force” to kill even though he really didn’t want to….he was a sword so i mean he couldn’t help it. But when you think about it, it’s kinda like other people dirtied his hands for their own sake. A human nature kind of thing. SPOILER END I think Ren is one of the rather deep character.

image

Kikuri…..oh where can I start with this brat. I admit she’s cute although her eyes freak me out. But OMG she ruins everything. Such a trouble maker. But I love how much she loves Ai >_< it’s rather cute. Like a little sister attached to her big sister. Kikuri appearence was first during Season 2 of the series. She is sometimes creepy but always cute and mischievous. That’s really all i have to say about her. We don’t ever get a back story for her so I don’t feel so close to her as I do the other characters.

The Original group of Hell Hotline is so lovely. Ren, Onna, Waandyuudou, and Ai are great. Their bonds are really heart warming MAJOR SPOILER START: When they split at the end of Season 2—-when Ai finally got to rest in peace—- it broke y heart. They all loved Ai and i understand why. She saved them from damnation. It’s heart breaking also to watch Season 3 because they aren’t all really “united” like they were in season 1&2. Ohhhh so much feels SPOILER END.

And we can’t forget about the meddling group can we? Hajime & Tsugumi. Tsugumi is a girl that can see Ai’s visions and Hajime is just her dad to be honest XD he just happen to be there. Hajime was rather annoying in my opinion. He keep trying to stop people from pulling stings even though you can clearly see that some deserve to be sent. They were eventually going there anyways. It’s like if someone abused a child he would be against them going to Hell. He really got on my nerves but he wasn’t that bad either. He just made me pretty annoyed sometimes with the stuff he tried to justify. He’s a good farther though…sorta.

Art: 8.5/10

The visuals are really great…in season 2. I understand though that this anime was made in 2005, and maybe they didn’t have the best funding or something but the characters sometimes mash together. BUT it was still a pretty good animation. You couldn’t help but think “awww Ai” or “oohhhh Ren!” or something. So I have no complaints.

OVERALL: 9/10

The anime is absolutely a must watch. It’s great and appeals to almost anyone if you’re open minded enough. I have no complaints about season 1 and 2 of Jigoku Shoujo but for season 3 i will. The anime is a Horror/ Psychological/Tragedy/Supernatural/Mystery anime that is 26 episodes long for each season. Each episode is about 25 minutes. I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a good horror and psychological anime. It’s great and breath taking that will make you grab a box of tissues sometimes. I didn’t cry at Clannad at all so yeah, I cried at this. Tells a little doesn’t it. If anyone has any thoughts on this series feel free to share it with me. I’m glad to talk.

SPOILER SPOILER RANTING: Oh the ending of season 2!!! Why they gotta split huh?! I’m glad Ai got to rest in peace but come on dude! The group all got to spend their lives as well but….BOOOOO. I cry buckets….buckets for Ai. When she was being beaten by the evil towns people and they got away with nothing really bad happening to them, what kind of Karma is that?! They beat her with sticks and other stuff yet they get away almost unharm?! I hope Ai’s in a better place and not Hell. I also feel sad that her and Sentaro never got the right ending. She forgave him at the end of Season 1 which was nice but still, they weren’t doing anything sinful….kinda. Ohhh Karma really  is a bitch!

Amnesia Episode 3 Review

image

Okay I lied. I said i wasn’t going to do the review but after watching it, how can I not? Shin is such a sketchy character! >_< Toma’s adorable and where the heck is Kento, Ikki, and Orion?! I’m so confuse! This episode was a bucket load of Shin-ness.

image

Heroine and Shin are at the hospital ready to leave. Heroine is still really confuse about well….everything. And remember this is apparently August 1st. They went on the trip around August 8th  or something if I remember correctly. So travel to the past? I guess not because it seems they already went on the trip! You’ll see why I’m confuse at the end of this review.

image

Shin and Heroine head back to her house where she can’t find her key. Shin says she’s not looking for the key right, and she just agrees. Shin was holding onto the key. The sit awkwardly in her room. Heroine sits at the table and Shin on her bed. There’s an awkward silence. (oh and it seems Heroine hut her neck) Shin asks if it (neck) hurt and Heroine says no. He then says if she falls he’ll carry her to bed…Oh Shin!>_< maybe it’s just me but i highly doubt he’ll just carry her to bed.

Anyways he asks for tea and Heroine asks what kind. He then changes to Mellon soda. He says he doesn’t like bitter things. A trap Heroine feel for. Shin is very suspicious of Heroine’s actions so he says if anything’s wrong then they could always take her back to the hospital. Orion words echos in Heroine’s mind saying don’t go to the hospital. So she strongly says she’s okay and no need for the hospital.

imageimage

We head back to her room and they finally sit at the same place; the table. Shin tells Heroine to get some rest and remember to eat some food. Isn’t he a good boyfriend? Shin leaves shortly but before he does, he stands in front of Heroine’s door very worriedly. Back inside Heroine is thinking the last two episodes were maybe dreams? or that this episode could be a dream? e__e?

image

We skip to the next day and Shin knocks on the door. Heroine gets out to answer perfectly..not in a mess or anything. (Dang anime people. I get out of bed and look like the demon from the exorcist.) He tells Heroine that’s it been 1 year since they started dating….?!….He asks if they should do something for the occasion. Heroine thinks saying yeah we should. TRAP. Shin points out it’s actually just been 3 months. He then accuses her of memory lost. Which she admits too. He then teases her of being an idiot after some other stuff XD

image

So the two go on a little memory hunt. Along the way he introduces himself as Shin her childhood friend. They go to her college and his high school. (both on the same campus) Apparently Shin is Heroine’s Junior. Heroine is also in the band club—-she’s a vocalist.

image

They go to the band room and we see instruments. The room was where Shin confessed his feelings to her and kiss her for the very first time. So the room is a place of lots of boyfriend/girlfriend memories for him….for her it’s just a room though. Shin asks if she remembers anything about the room and she says no.

image

Shin is sadden an attempts (TWICE) to kiss Heroine but fails. The look on his face when she rejected him DX I’m so sorry Shin. He was just doing it so maybe she’ll regain some of her memories…or was it that simple?

image

BTW, did anyone notice that Shin wears gloves?! Might just be me but…eh? They look more out of place in the environment as ever but whatever. I’m sure it’s normal…

image

They meet up with Toma at a cafe and have a little chat. He is aware of her situation and Shin asks him to help her out during work. Toma and Shin have their usual brotherly argument that make Heroine feel kind of at ease. So cute. He agrees to help her out and keep her memory lost a secret.

image

Shin and Heroine walks home together awkwardly. They talk about the accident a little but nothing really is reveal about it. Shin expresses some dark faces during the walk. He looks mad. And he was going to tell Heroine something but decided not too. What was he going to say dang it?!

image

Heroine is at home and is writing the event that happen in a notebook. Smart. Maybe now she can remember some stuff if she ever lost her memory….again.

image

It’s the next day and Heroine woke up late for work. Shin takes  her to the cafe and they separate…but not before Heroine does something cute making Shin blush as he heads off to Prep school.

The manager is in and he’s….different. He’s a lot more…..uh…colorful in personality then he was in the last 2 episode. Toma, Sawa, and Mine arrive shortly after Heroine. The girls get into the changing room and talk. They talk about the incident. Their story and her story about what happened do not match up. Heroine walks home alone and tries to piece everything together.

image

As she is stopped to wait for a train to cross by she is greet by…..no other than Green-Hair-Rape-Face dude! I still don’t know his name. Heroine gets his attention and this is what he says right off the bat:

“To think you’d talk to me…It makes me happy. Long time no see.”

image

It seems his memory wasn’t altered. He asks heroine if it was their first time meeting. They apparently meet at the mountain villa (?) then asks if she’s okay from the accident. The train passes by and the dude says something else but we don’t know what it is.

Shin interrupts us saying Heroine should’ve waited for him to walk her home. Apparently it’s dangerous. Duel-Person / Rape-Face dude disappears.

image

The two sit down at a…place with a bench and Juggler. They talk about Heroine’s first performance and how Shin teased her a lot. Heroine attempts to ask about the accident. Shin just replies with a “It’s all my fault.” and that he couldn’t explain to her properly because he doesn’t have the confidence. Shin looks really depress or mad even. Heroine doesn’t worry about him though because she hears Orion’s voice. And the episode Ends with that.

image

Overall: Yeah i don’t get what’s going on. I know she somehow travel back a few days and that Shin wasn’t her boyfriend until well this episode. What I don’t get is that they already went on the trip. It was August 8th or so when they went on the trip soooo how come it’s August 1st now and they’ve already done the whole trip?! And where’s Ikki and Kento? Apparently Sawa and Mine thinks Heroine doesn’t know them…Why? Ahhh, so many questions. Maybe I’m the one that has Amnesia?!

Manga Review: Bokura No Hikari Club

image

So I just finished reading the prequel to the Litchi Hikari Club manga which is called Bokura no Hikari Club. It tells the story in detail of how the Hikari club was born and how Zera took it over and how the members came to be. It’s really heart breaking and heart warming to be honest. I loved it though! It’s very dark themed so i reccomend 17+ though if you’re mature and can handle disturbing stuff you’ll be fine even if you are a younger age.

(Plot: 9/10) The prequel is about this place where it’s really dark and depressing because of the factories pollution. Three elementary kids find there own secret base within the darkness of this world. They start off as a harmless club to cure their boredom. But, with the addition of a new member, Hiroyuki Tsunekawa, their club starts to become a demon hole. And that’s where the story sets sail.

It’s great and really draws you in. You just can’t put it down quiet honestly! It’s grueling and and deals into forbidden topics such as the sexual desires for a regular teenager and world conquest. Again probably only mature audiences can handle this and the main story of Litchi Hikari Club.

(Art/Visual: 8)The visuals are that kind of horror manga like. It’s perfect for this dark manga. It’s realistic and great. The only reason I didn’t give it a 9 or higher is because I’m not particularly use to it. The art though is anything but horrible. Terrific——Litchi

(Characters: 9/10)The character are so great! I wish I could give it a 10 but i felt that there was one character in this manga that was really never got a chance to come out. (Kobuhei Yamada) who is suppose to be a main character but really he faded way back. The same with Raizou Ichihashi.

Other wise the characters development is even greater! Tsunekawa a bowl hair kid grows up to be a total douche and crazy. Hiroshi Tamiya, the club’s leader, is my favorite and goes from a good friend and leader to a good friend and follower…sad face.

Characters are all pitiful and can be loved if you see them in the right light. They all come to life somehow and that”s a plus. This story i think mainly focuses on characters than anything else and they do justice for the story.

(Overall: 9/10) Of course this manga gets a almost perfect score. It’s brilliant! Breathtaking for any horror psychology fans out there that love the dark themes. It’s really recommendable to anyone who thinks mangas or animes are “kiddy” stuff. You’ll be proven wrong pretty quick if you think this is an ordinary manga. Read it people! I’m off to read the main story Litchi Hikari Club which you can read before this but i say you read the prequel before the main story. You won’t regret it.

Fairy Tail Chapter 315 Review

image

In the latest chapter, which can be read in almost any manga sites, we have the conclusion of the Erza vs Kagura match. There’s not going to be many snips this review because….well I don’t have a site for uploading images without them getting removed later on.

image

So we start off where were at and Erza’s not down yet. She’s actually ready to roar back. Kagura on the other hand is a bit emotional right now. Erza goes on to thank everyone for protecting her and keeping her alive till this very day. And then she says:

“To abandon this life would be….sarcrilege to the one’s who are not here anymore.”

So basically it would be insult if she were to die because people had risk their lives to save her. Very nice quote. Kagura doesn’t care though XD she still charges at her with anger for her and Jellal. Erza’s all mellow and fine with it if that’s what’s fuel her but she doesn’t stand down to the might Kagura. With basically one attack Erza takes her down. Amazing Erza is back!

image

Everyone is surprise but i have a feeling her guild members aren’t. At least i wasn’t since she is Erza after all. She never fails to impress us. But the fight is over yet. Kagura struggles to stand again and before she is able to completely stand, a couple of rocks come crumbling down at her. Erza lashes into action and pushes her away but gets hit in the process. Kagura is dumbfounded by her actions and then we go to a flash back. Apprently Erza’s from Rosemary Village the same place Simon and Kagura are from.

During the “kidnapping” of rampage that was going on in their town Kagura had gotten lost. Within the confusion Erza found her. (note this is when they were young and before Erza was kidnapped to the tower) May I say…Kagura was the cutest little thing when she was a kid. Oh goodness she so cute with her bunny ear things XD chibi?

The people are saying kill the adults and take the children. Erza rushes Kagura to somewhere safe and hides her. Before Erza goes to find her own safety spot she tells Kagura to live. Erza was even kind back then. :) As Erza is trying to find another place to hide she is caught. And we all know what happen right?

We jump back to the present and Kagura is in tears. She remembers! We have a touching scene of Kagura helping Erza out from underneath the rocks and she was about to say she Lost WHEN the evil demon tiger lady stabs her. OMGoodness, she is the devil! Kagura is sadly taken down and boy is Erza mad. The demon tiger lady (i forgot her name :P) continues on to say something about her being “King” or something. The chapter ends with Erza in rage mode. Seriously I would be too.

Overall: So everything was kinda predicted. We knew Erza was gona win epicly but I didn’t expect the little past scene. It was sweet to see the old Erza wasn’t that different from the present Erza. Gosh I admire this character. Anyways next week there might be a fight bewteen devil woman and Erza or they’ll jump to some other fights or back to Lucy and Natsu.

Chapter 316 “The Future Runs Towards Despair” will be out next week and firstly on mangapanda.com

Amnesia Episode 2 Review

image

Oh my goodness….I love this series! So much better than the 2 other Idea Factory animes! Haha XD I kyaaa so bad at the end…hahahehe…and dat OP (´∇ノ`*)ノ

image

So we start off right where we left off. When Heroine is surrounded by a bunch of girls….again i don’t think we know her name…makes sense though. She does have amnesia after all. Heroine is standing there frighten to death when a strange blond women walks by them. She kinda glares. Maybe she’s the head of the mean girls? Heroine faints…unharmed though so that’s good. Not like in real life. Somebody would’ve probably kidnapped her; just my view though.

image

She wakes up on the cold floor….still outside. Her and Orion go inside and start discussing the mean girl and promise situation. Orion explains the obvious that she probably made a promise to those mean girls and broke it after her getting amnesia. He advises her still not to tell anyone about her memory lose because then those mean girls will likely take advantage of her. Heroine understands but feels guilty. She says she broke a promise and that probably hurt someone or made them sad. So Heroine’s a sweet thoughtful girl d=(´▽`)

image

We switch to the next day at the cafe’s locker rooms. Heroine is approached by 2 girls co worker. One is name Sawa and the other is Mine (youngest). Mine noticed that Heroine is not acting like her usual self but that blows over. The two start asking is she exited or something about the up-coming trip. Heroine obvious doesn’t know anything about this. So she just gotta go along with it. It’s a 3 day 2 night trip to help train teamwork among the cafe workers.

image

Kent seems to be the cook here huh? Anyways he makes a birthday cake for a customers and the 3 maids have to sing “Happy Birthday” to him. As they are doing so the candles on the cake gives her a memory fragment of Shin and her.

image

The memory is of her and Shin sitting in a rather dark place. Shin looks troubled. He tells her something I didn’t really expect.

“I..I…I killed a man.”

∑(O_O;)and this statement frightens Heroine.

image

We go on to probably the end of work hours where everyone’s hold a meeting about the trip. Toma skips (not really but he hurriedly) go and sits next to Heroine.(≧▽≦) Toma says something about a meteor shower and how Heroine was so looking forwards to it. Heroine just has to play along. Meanwhile Shin is staring suspiciously at her….actually he kind of does this throughout the episode. The trip is said to begin on August 8 and is meant to bring the worker under one roof. Also just a moment i thought was cute; Toma asked Kent to help Shin with his math and Kent is all serious and says to gather his questions accordingly so that way Shin won’t waste his time on meaningless things. Oh Kent….

image

After the meeting Heroine walks home alone (well kinda. she’s with Orion). She is almost hit by a truck when she is crossing a street. Someone saves her though (not surprise there and i bet you can guess who too. that’s right it’s.) Rape-Face duel persona dude saves her! The guy with the long green hair and hat. At the moment he seems calm an nice. He even smiles at her.

He points out the light is red. Heroine just apologizes. He tells her that it’s dangerous to space out and that the situation had happen before too. Heroine obviously gets confused and surprise since it’s probably her first time meeting him. Green Hair-kun (i don’t know the name at this moment) says sadly that she doesn’t remember him. Now how did he know that? (☞゚∀゚)☞

imageimage

He says to himself: “Of course not.” kinda in a sad but smiling face way. (´_`。) awwwe……Green hair-kun then just says goodbye and walks away. Heroine and Orion says they felt a flutter in their chest. (keep in mind Orion and Heroine are KINDA like one person. He can see her memories and probably feel what she feels….maybe. Just a guess) BTW Love Green-kun outfit!

image

We skip to a bus scene where everyone is just happily riding to the place there are going for the trip. Everyone is relax….I’m quite jealous. (>_<) Toma sits with Shin.  Sawa sits with Mine. Ikki, Kent, and Manager….sits alone. (XD forever alone! jk) And Heroine sits with Orion. (technically alone but..) They arrive shortly and head to their rooms just for a tiny bit. Shin and Heroine for some reason is at a lake.

image

Shin again just stares at Heroine. Making it kind of obvious too. Heroine and Orion notices and they kinda just stare at each other for a few secs. Then it starts to rain. They all take cover quickly. The managers predict that rain will end soon and he knows this because he can smell it…eh?

image

As it rains Heroine experiences another memory fragment. This time it’s with Kent. There’s a lot chimes at the beginning and them we see him and Heroine walking together in a festival…he’s still wearing the same clothes. In the memory Kent says that Heroine told him to promise only one thing. The memory ends there. As they walk to their hotel (?) Heroine attempts to ask Kent about the promise but he doesn’t know what she’s talking about. After that they kind of just drop it.

image

Sawa announces a game of air hokey. First the boys are competing. The teams are Toma and Shin VS Ikki and Kent. Toma tells shin he’ll do the defending as Shin should attack. Shin says there’s no other formation than that one.

image

Ikki and Kent are listening and says

“Looks like some people are blurting out their strategy. I wonder if they’re underestimating us.”

Toma says he wouldn’t dare since Ikki is in the table tennis club. They kind of don’t stand a chance against him. Ikki corrects him saying he’s now in the Dart Circle. He continues on to say he’s good at almost any game that uses hands. Shin points out that’s pretty much all games. XD

Toma asks if Ikki and Kent need to strategies too. Kent replies saying he doesn’t need to. Ikkyu will fight and he will plan. Ikkyu? ohhhh his real name? Those two must be close. Ikki complains that he doesn’t need to be polite and blurt out their strategy too. Kent simply says if they know, it just proves their winning because they were better. Oh Kent.

Well Ikki and Kent team wins almost effortlessly. Shin suggestion play poker but Ikki says he’s good at that too. Shin gives up saying there’s probably no winning against Ikki. (ikki power!)

It’s a nice scene and very relaxing. I really really wish i had people like this around me. They seem so fun to be around! Oh well….It’s Sawa’s and Heroine’s turn against Manager and Mine. Sawa and Heroine win with Heroine being surprisingly good, well according to Orion.

The group start their walk to the meteor shower place. When Shin stares at Heroine and accuses her of being too tired. He tries to grab her hand but Heroine snatches away quickly. (⊙▂⊙)? She walks off but Shin stops her by wanting to ask her a question. Orion hints that she should get away quickly before he finds out her memory lost. She tries to make up an excuse and walks away but slips. Shin hurriedly catches her and says that was dangerous.

image

Heroine says thanks and says he should let go. Heroine is flashed back to her memory with Shin saying he killed a man. She starts to become afraid and push him away quickly. She runs off to who knows where and Shin follows. they eave behind Heroine’s flash light.

image

It’s only to be picked up by Rape-Face guy. and yeah he has the rape face this time. He says.

“Now I have no choice. I guess I should take this to them. No…It’s no use…Because this is where he…”

Σ(゜ロ゜;) this is where Shin killed?! so he actually killed?

image

Heroine continues to run to no where and falls off a cliff. Shin stops in his tracks. (UH?! Isn’t this where you jump off to save her?) In fact it is Orion who jumps off the cliff right away to save her. Although we don’t know who really saved her since we get a scene with her hat falling slowly down and she blacks out..AGAIN. This girl black out a lot huh?

We skip to a scene where she’s in a hospital bed. And Shin is there walking all normal. Heroine notices it’s August 1st. (!) He simply says.

“Hey. How long are you going to sleep for? It’s already 10. You’re half asleep aren’t you? Jeez. What are you spacing out for? I’ll wake you up.”

image

AND DUN! He plants one on her. ∑(O_O;) that escalated quickly! Dang Shin, you move fast even though you didn’t exactly save her. Prince smooth over here huh? The episodes ends there…

image

Nope! Shin asks if Heroine is going to freak out in embarrassment today. Heroine is still shock. He says he sign the forms so that she can be discharged and that she should get dressed. Shin then says he’ll come back but he won’t come in saying anything. So basically she could be changing and he walk right in. ( ̄︶ ̄;) He leaves the room and Heroine tries to talk to Orion but he isn’t there. He disappeared…..DUN DUN DUN.

image

Overall: Shin…I am totally shock by you. REALLY. This anime escalated fast. Where’s my dear Orion?! And are Shin and Heroine going out? I’m guessing Heroine has travel back in time. And one complaint. Do they all really go out wearing those clothes? I love them don’t get me wrong but throughout the episode I couldn’t help but think they looked like a cult a bit XD I’m sorry but it just looks strange….them all dressing like that everyday every where. Especially Kent.

I will review the next episode (actually maybe the whole series) can’t wait~
